11. Quote, Paraphrase, Citation #2 (Career 2)

Generally a chef's book is like a calling card or a portfolio to display their personal work. Sally Schneider http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/keywords/chef.html I think when chef's cook it should be food from the heart. I watch the cooking channel everyday and all of the chef on there cook food they are familiar with; foods that have a story behind them. Chefs should take there food personally and cook with the heart. If i become a chef I would cook meals that I love and I know that other people would enjoy too.

#3 What I Want I Know About My Career

A social worker has many different cases they have to work on. I want to know how many hours a day I would work ; like is it a job that has 7-3 or is it a work until your finish kind of job. I also want to know do I have to have prior experience? I know that money isnt a big deal but I would like to know how much money I would make. There is alot more things I would like to know about becoming a social worker.

#2 What I Already Know About My Career

Well I dont know much already about my career, I know that a social worker for DSS takes kids away from unstable homes. DSS takes kids away from homes with abusive parents, drugs, harmful conditions, and much more. I would have to go to a really good collage like USC and study there for 4 years to get a degree as a social worker. Becoming a social worker I know I can get a job almost anywhere. Social Worke is a nation wide job.

#1 The Story Behind My Career Choice

My career for this project is becoming a Social Worker for DSS. Becoming a Social Worker would be a great job for me. I want to get innocent children out of the hands of abusive parents and get them into a home where they are loved and cared for. Children have no way of defending themselves against physical, mental, and emotional abuse. My career choice is a chioce that I will stick to the rest of my life, and I would do whatever it takes to become a Social Worker for DSS .
